Masters in Psychology (2002) and Social Work (2004), long term psychotherapy training and dozens of trainings and courses on human rights and international development work issues. I have worked for different NGOs and international organizations in Europe, Africa and Asia. Check my full professional background in my LinkedIn Profile.
With over 15 years of experience in the field of human rights and international development, I have been focusing my work on rights-based approach to development, strategic campaigning and impact assessments & evaluations in Central and Eastern Europe, Balkans, Caucasus, MENA and East Africa. With hope of seeing more of meaningful and sustainable development interventions, I currently support different organisations through trainings and consultancies and providing external evaluations of their programmes and projects.
• Human Rights Based Approach to Development
• Strategic Campaigning
• Public Advocacy Approaches
• Monitoring and Evaluation
Coming from psychotherapy background, I believe that trainings only become really useful once participants get the chance to practise the particular skills themselves - based on the real-life examples of other organisations of similar kind. Therefore, I design trainings in a way that they bring lessons learnt from other organisations and let the participants find a way to use the knowledge in a way it fits their needs.
Over the time, I have worked with dozens organisations ranging from small grassroots NGOs to big INGOs and IGOs, including:
• Amnesty International
• Open Society Foundation
• United Nations Development Programme
• Slovak Non-Governmental Development Organisations Platform
• International Organisation for Migration
• People in Peril
• Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia
• eRKo – Christian Children Communities Movement
• and many others..
